Thus you set up a new eMail account with Outlook XP (Outlook 2002): (Sorry, only available with german snapshots.)
Open your Outlook XP over "Start / Programs / Microsoft Outlook". If you start the program for the first time, the Outlook XP starting assistant opens automatically.
Click on "Next", in order to continue with the installation.
If the assistant does not start automatically, please select "Extras / E-Mail-Konten".
Select "Add a new E-Mail account" and click on "Next".
Choose "POP3" for server type and click afterwards on "Next".
Type in now the data for the eMail account: For the POP3-Server you enter YOUR domain name with the prefix "mail.", same apply to the SMTP server.
The user name corresponds to your complete eMail address, e.g. "support@domaxxx.de", the password you specified when setting up the eMail account on www.domaxxx.de.
Click afterwards on "Next".
Your eMail configuration is nearly ready now. Click in the next dialogue window on "Finish".
Subsequently please call the properties of the mail account and activate with the server attitudes the option "My server requires authentication".
You can test your eMail account by sending an eMail at echo@domaxxx.de. This receiver sends you automatically an feedback to your eMail account. If you receive this eMail, your mail account works well.
If sending/receiving eMails should not work and all settings are correctly made by you, please contact the software producer. domaxxx.de unfortunately can not take over support for this product.
