By keyword density one understands the number of words of a certain range, mostly an entire web page to the relationship to the entire text. One differentiates between pure text and text with HTML tags, like e.g. title or alt. The keyword density looms large in relation to the ranking with search engines. Exaggerates one its good intentions, is the keyword density too high, one can calculate on a punishment in the ranking count, since such methods are typical methods of spammers. Example: On a web page with 100 words 5 times the word search engine optimization appears. The keyword density amounts in this case to 5%.
